The 8200 Social Program was founded by The 8200 Alumni Association to harness the human capital of 8200 alumni for the benefit of society. 8200 is the elite cyber security intelligence unit in the Israel Defense Forces. It is a 5-month accelerator filled with workshops, events, and meetings with successful entrepreneurs, top-tier professionals in various domains, and prominent investors. Within this program, I was sent for 1 month to Mysore (south of India), to consult the government of India (Ministry of Rural Development, MoRD). Our team mission was to learn and give recommendations on how to improve the DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) training and placement initiative, aimed to to build the capacity of rural poor youth to address the needs of global skill requirements.
